An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Stolpe (referred to by some as a "Swedish insert") Movie Poster (measures 13" x 27 1/2") (Learn More) Nuits de feu (released in England as "Nights of Fire"), the 1937 Marcel L'Herbier French Russia romantic ballet dancing melodrama starring Mia Slavenska (the ballerina), Gaby Morlay, Victor Francen, Georges Rigaud, and Madeleine Robinson. Note that this was one of two movies that director L'Herbier made that were about Russian ballets. Since he had a limited budget, the filming was entirely in France, and the only way to know the actors were supposed to be Russian was by their names, because in every other way, everything looked French! This movie was based on stories by Leo Tolstoy. Note that the IMDb claims that there is a "worldwide title" of this movie of "The Living Corpse", but that doesn't seem to make any sense! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. There are four small punch holes in the top border of the poster.
