He started on the stage with the 1900 play "Sapho", but it was closed down for immorality! Some of his movies include: Efficiency Edgar's Courtship (in the title role as Edgar), Nothing But the Truth, Joan of Arc, Father of the Bride, and Sleeping Beauty (as the voice of King Stefan). He passed away in 1959 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that these stills all feature a specific actor or actress (sometimes portraits, but often in a scene from a movie that they were in). They come from the collection of Ken Jones, who was an author of many books about old-time actors, including many character actors. He collected on all the stars that he enjoyed, and this is a rare opportunity to get a number of stills at one time from this specific star! Condition: good to very good.
