Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this Japanese poster, and that was 10 years ago (that example was linenbacked and it sold for $1,601)! Most collectors consider this one of the finest Barbarella images there is (if not the best). Quite a few collectors consider this one of the best 1960s posters period! Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube (because the foldlines are such that they have diminished over time, we don't want to re-fold the poster prior to mailing, because we believe that re-folding it would surely bring back the folds and lessen its condition, so we will send it rolled in a tube). If the winning bidder specifically requests it, we will re-fold this poster, but they would not be able to return it, and it would surely be a mistake to do so. Condition: very good. The poster was folded like a U.S. one-sheet and it was also once lightly tri-folded in a stack, so there are slight "waves" in those two areas and very minor fold wear, with tiny pinholes in each corner and there was a tiny piece of tape on the back of each corner.
