An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

the 1962 double-bill release of Invasion of the Animal People (also released as "Horror in the Midnight Sun", "Space Invasion from Lapland", or "Terror in the Midnight Sun"), the 1959 (released to the U.S. in 1962) Virgil W. Vogel & Jerry Warren science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller ("Monster walk the Earth in ravishing rampage of clawing fury!"; "Giants of the ages run amuck in icy death attack controlled by alien brains!"; "Could it happen? See and decide for yourself!") starring Barbara Wilson, John Carradine, Robert Burton, Bengt Blomgren, Sten Gester, and Ake Gronberg and Terror of the Bloodhunters, the 1962 Jerry Warren South American jungle horror thriller starring Robert Clarke, Steve Conte, and Dorothy Haney. Note that I have never seen any U.S. movie posters from either of these movies separately (there are a few lobby cards and stills for Invasion of the Animal People, but those could have been part of the double bill release). There are also a few non-U.S. posters. If anyone knows of an individual initial U.S. release for either movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info:

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had pinholes in the corners and minor fold and border wear. It had an NSS stamp on the back of the bottom center that slightly bleeds through to the front near the center of the title. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
