The Princess on Broadway, the 1927 Dallas M. Fitzgerald silent New York City theater stage acting mistaken identity romantic melodrama ("Pathepicture"; about a waitress who is given an acting job on Broadway, but then the show's producers, wanting to get a rich young man to invest, tell him that the waitress is really a Russian princess, incognito, and he falls for the deceit and falls for her, and later he learns the truth) starring Pauline Garon, Johnnie Walker, Dorothy Dwan, Ethel Clayton, and Harold Miller. Note that Pauline Garon was a Canadian actress who spent seven years at a Canadian convent school, and then ran away to New York and became a Broadway actress, and then started in movies. She had success throughout the 1920s, including in Cecil B. DeMille's Adam's Rib in 1923, the same year she was a Wampas Baby Star.

Condition: very good. There is lots of smudging in the top border extending across the title area and into the top edge of the image background. There is a tack hole in each corner.
