A Linenbacked Advertising Poster (measures 12" x 19" [30 x 48 cm]) (Learn More)

The New York Sunday Herald was a weekly newspaper published by the New York Herald, existing from 1835 to 1924, when it merged with the New-York Tribune to form the New York Herald Tribune. In hits heyday, the Herald was the most popular and profitable daily newspaper in the United States!
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster mentions Sunday, February 16th on it. Since that date fell on a Sunday in 1902, 1908, and 1913, we think it is extremely likely this is from one of those three dates, but it could even be from the 1890s as well. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

UPDATED 11/18/2019: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that the song "I'm Mad With Mary Morrison!" was copyrighted in 1896, and February 16th fell on a Sunday that year! We have updated the date accordingly.
