An Original 1926 (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage German Photographic Transparency Lobby Card (measures 9 1/4" x 11 1/2" [23 x 29 cm]) (Learn More) The Mark of Zorro, the 1920 Fred Niblo silent south-of-the-border masked-hero western adventure thriller ("From the 'All Story Weekly' novel 'The Curse of Capistrano' by Johnston McCulley") starring Douglas Fairbanks (in the title role as Zorro), Marguerite De La Motte, Robert McKim, Noah Beery Sr., Charles Hill Mailes, and Claire McDowell. It is interesting to note that this was the very first Zorro movie ever, and that Zorro, created in a pulp story in 1919, was the very first masked superhero ever! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare full-color German transparency lobby card and it measures 9 1/4" x 11 1/2" [23 x 29 cm]. It is full-color on the front and the back has a reverse image, and it is made of a plastic material, and it is very striking in person! Condition: good to very good. The transparency lobby card has darkened somewhat (we artificially brightened our image somewhat, so it could be seen better, but the actual image is darker than what you see, although you can clearly make out the entire image). We tried to simply photograph it, and we have included that photo, but that image is far too dark, because this is very difficult to photograph! The actual transparency lobby card is in between how the two images appear! Learn More about condition grades
