Condition: good to very good. The poster had extensive inpainting in the title area. There were many creases, tears, and small areas of paper loss across the title, and so the restorer largely painted over the white letters, and the red box behind it. The rest of the poster had creases, tears, and some tiny areas of paper loss on the foldlines with larger areas of paper loss at the crossfolds. There was a fair amount of inpainting in the red letters of the stars' credits, but the restorer did very little inpainting to the images of the stars, both because they didn't need much, and because they surely did not want those images to look heavily restored, and they do not. There was also a fair amount of restoration in the white background areas, to "even them out". Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster has had significant restoration, but it displays well, and it might be many years before one could find another example of this poster!
