8s013 BELA LUGOSI slabbed 5x7 still '31 appears to be from 1st Dracula release, but we don't know!

A Slabbed Original Vintage Theatrical 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm] Movie Still (measures 9 1/2" x 12" with slab) (Learn More)

Bela Lugosi was one of the top two horror actors from the 1930s (along with Boris Karloff) in movies such as Dracula, Island of Lost Souls, The Wolf Man, The Body Snatcher, and the Black Cat. His portrayal of Dracula was so memorable, that it caused movie makers to only want him to play similar roles, and in the minds of many horror fans, there is no other Dracula BUT Bela Lugosi! Note that Mr. Lugosi was born in what was then Austria-Hungary, but is now Romania. He passed away in 1956 at the age of 73.
Important Added Info: Note that this 5x7 still was found in the Culver Pictures archive. It was glued to a piece of manila paper and it has "BELA LUGOSI AS DRACULA II" written in pen on the top of the paper. It would APPEAR to be an original 5x7 still created for 1931's "Dracula", but there is no telling if that is correct, and anything written or stamped on the back of the still is hidden, because it is glued to the manila paper (which itself has Culver Pictures stamps and snipes glued to the back of it). PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THE UNCERTAINTY AS TO ITS ORIGIN, BECAUSE IF THE SLAB IS OPENED, THEN IT WILL NOT BE RETURNABLE FOR ANY REASON! Also note that this a movie paper item that was "authenticated" and "graded" by CGC, the famous authenticator of comic books. They gave it a grade of "fine", and encased it in a Mylar sleeve, with an informative strip one on border, and three punch holes in another border. Also note that this still measures 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm], but it has not been trimmed.

Condition: good. The still has creases and some tears around the edges, and it was glued to manila paper (see above). PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THE UNCERTAINTY AS TO ITS ORIGIN AND EXACT CONDITION, BECAUSE IF THE SLAB IS OPENED, THEN IT WILL NOT BE RETURNABLE FOR ANY REASON!
