An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Street of Forgotten Men, the 1925 Herbert Brenon silent beggars-pretending-to-be-crippled-to-gain-sympathy romantic love triangle melodrama ("Where the Lights of Love and Devotion Conquer the shadows of Falseness and Despair"; "A picture stronger than 'The Miracle Man'"; "Adapted by John Russell"; "From the story by George Kibbe Turner") starring Percy Marmont, Neil Hamilton, Mary Brian, John Harrington, Juliet Brenon, and Louise Brooks (as "A Moll", uncredited in her first movie role). Note that we had never seen or heard of any movie advertising from this that shows Louise Brooks, until November of 2018, when we were consigned a single still that shows her! We don't know that she appears on any other movie paper, since she was uncredited. We imagine there would be a few other stills that show her, but we have never auctioned another, and we might never get another one again. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. There is small paper loss at the top crossfold. There is a 1/2" tear in the upper right border that has a piece of tape on the back. There are a few tears in the left of the top horizontal fold and a few tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of other folds, with some small tears in the bottom border.
