An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Robot Monster, the 1953 Phil Tucker 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller (perhaps the worst movie ever made; "Moon monsters launch attack against Earth!"; "Moon monsters launch Earth attack!"; "Adventures into the Future"; "How can science meet the menace of astral assassins? New science-fiction thrills!"; "Monsters attack Earth!"; "Adventures into the future in NEW Tru-3 dimension!") starring George Nader, Claudia Barrett, Selena Royle, John Mylong, Gregory Moffett, Pamela Paulson, George Barrows, and John Brown (in the title role as the voice of the robot). Note that "Plan Nine From Outer Space" has often been mentioned as the worst movie ever made, but many people feel this movie is a strong contender for that title! The making of the movie is as interesting as the movie itself (it was shot in four days, it "steals" special effects from other movies, etc). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "3-D" release. Condition: good. The poster once had snipes over the two "3-D" areas and there are now glue stains in both of those areas (see our image). There was a long L-shaped tear running along the center of the girl's body and down the end of her dress, and someone put tape on the front of those tears. It also has tiny paper loss at the top two crossfolds and some minor fold and border wear. Certainly, a talented linenbacker could perform restoration on the taped area and on the 3-D areas, but bear that in mind before placing a bid on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
