eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 3c0003 GODZILLA Attack Peter collector's model 2021 Mondo, Godzilla Museum, Attack Peter! Date Sold 10/27/2022Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. A Mondo Godzilla Museum: Attack Peter Collector's Model (figure measures 5" x 8 1/4"; packaging measures 6" x 9" x 11") (Learn More) Godzilla (Gojira) is a monster (or kaiju) that first appeared in the 1954 film Godzilla. It became a worldwide pop culture icon, appearing in various media, including over 30 films produced by Toho, multiple Hollywood films and numerous video games, novels, comic books and television shows. Godzilla was originally conceived as a metaphor for nuclear weapons, but as the film series expanded, some stories took on less serious (and often silly) themes, portraying Godzilla as an antihero, or even a defender of humanity (who still steps on a lot of buildings). Godzilla has faced off against many monster opponents, including: King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Mothra and Gigan. Artist: Attack Peter, Damian DeMartino, Hilary Arce & Tufan Sezer Important Added Info: Note that this statue was designed by Attack Peter (Peter Santa-Maria) based on one of his linocut creations. It was sculpted by artist Tufan Sezer and painted by artist Hilary Arce. The packaging was designed by artist Damian DeMartino. Note also that we have 13 images of the items in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 13 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 3. Note that this item MUST be shipped in a large box by itself, which will cost much more to send than a print rolled in a tube. Please bear in mind this excess shipping BEFORE placing a bid on this item. This is one of 2,530 auctions for Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse prints from the personal collection of Tim League, co-founder and Executive Chairman of Alamo Drafthouse! All 2,530 auctions began on October 6th, and all close October 27th, starting at around 7:00 PM CST, a few seconds apart! All the prints are being auctioned by eMoviePoster.com, and will ship to the winning bidders from eMoviePoster.com, who WILL combine purchases into as few packages as possible (and they can also be combined with purchases from "non-Mondo" eMoviePoster.com auctions, only charging the actual cost of shipping, plus $4 for each tube or box for packing materials). Please know that 100% of the proceeds from the sale will go towards the Alamo Community Fund, dedicated to supporting charitable organizations in each of the communities where we have an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. And eMoviePoster.com has slashed its commission rates, so that we too can do all we can to support this most worthwhile cause. Whether you are a prior collector of Mondo prints or if you have never purchased one of them before, you surely have a movie fan in your life who would like something unique under their Christmas tree this year (or maybe you want to give it to yourself!). Our deepest thanks to everyone who participates in this very special set of 2,530 auctions! Condition: fine. The statue is in excellent condition! Learn More about condition grades
