An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Gold and the Woman, the 1916 James Vincent silent Native American Indian Mexican family feud romantic melodrama (an odd story about an American family that has land that was swindled from Indians decades ago; a beautiful Mexican woman wants the land too, and there is much feuding between the two families, which she manipulates, but in the end, she ends up with nothing) starring Theda Bara, Alma Hanlon, H. Cooper Cliffe, Harry Hilliard, Carleton Macy, and Chief Black Eagle NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: fair. The black tape is missing from two borders. There is staining and deterioration around the edges of the slide (see our image). We don't know how easy or hard it would be to restore this slide, so bear that in mind before placing a bid on it. Learn More about condition grades
