Date Sold 4/4/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Unfolded Swiss Travel Poster (measures 35 1/2" x 50 1/4" [90 x 128 cm]) (Learn More) Swiss Federal Railways (often known by it's initials in French, German and Italian - SBB, CFF FFS) is the national railway company of Switzerland which was founded in 1902, after the Swiss people agreed in a referendum to the creation of a state-owned railway company. The Swiss Federal Railways clock designed by Hans Hilfiker has become a national icon and was designed to keep all station clocks synchronized. Artist: Donald Brun Important Added Info: Note that this poster must be sent in a tube that is over 32" long (which is why it is in this set of auctions). You can tell how long the tube will need to be by adding 2 inches to the shorter dimension of the length or width (so 40x60s need to be sent in a 42 inch long tube, etc). Most of these posters (with the notable exception of paper banners) CAN be combined in the same tube together, with a few exceptions. Bear in mind that a very long tube (42 inches or longer) will cost a lot more to send than a 30" tube, so bear that in mind before bidding on this poster. Condition: good to very good. The poster has creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along portions of some edges (partially repaired with tape from the back at upper right.) It is otherwise in pretty good condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
