An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Cass Timberlane, the 1948 George Sidney romantic love triangle infidelity melodrama ("From the great novel of a small-town girl who wanted big-time life... and got it!"; "Based on the novel by Sinclair Lewis"; about a small town judge who romances a much younger pretty stenographer, and he marries her, but she has an affair with the judge's best friend, and after many adventures, including a move to New York City, she finds her way back to her husband) starring Spencer Tracy (in the title role as Cass Timberlane), Lana Turner, Zachary Scott, Tom Drake, Mary Astor, Albert Dekker, and Cameron Mitchell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the playdates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images). Learn More about condition grades
