An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Dickie Jones was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. He was the son of a Texas newspaper editor, and he was a prodigious horseman from infancy, billed at the age of four as the World's Youngest Trick Rider and Trick Roper. He made many western movies as a child, and in 1940, he gave voice to Pinocchio in the Walt Disney classic! As he entered his teen years, he drifted away from movies, but as a young adult, Gene Autry hired him to play the sidekick to "The Range Rider", and later in his own series, "Buffalo Bill, Jr.", and a few years after that, he retired from show business. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Dickie Jones! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
