United Artists 1930-1931, the 1930 campaign book featuring United Artists movies and stars from that era. The yearbook includes mostly black and white images (with a cool art deco layout) of the 19 major upcoming United Artists films including Gloria Swanson in What a Widow, Ronald Colman in Raffles, Lottery Bride, Eddie Cantor in Whoopee, Walter Huston in D.W. Griffith's Abraham Lincoln, Eyes of the World, Du Barry Woman of Passion, Mary Pickford in Forever Yours, The Bat Whispers, Moon Madness, Charlie Chaplin in City Lights, Jean Harlow in Howard Hughes' Hell's Angels, Al Jolson, and more!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: fair. The theater owner who owned this campaign book apparently used it as a sort of scrapbook, because they glued several receipts and greeting cards to some interior pages at the front and back, including a newspaper clipping about the death of Will Rogers and Wiley Post. Unfortunately, this has discolored part of the Hell's Angels two-page ad, and there is a small clipping glued to the top of one of those two pages. It has very little effect on the two-page City Lights ad and several other of the pages. There is much scuffing on both covers. One could separate the undamaged pages and sell them individually, but please bear in mind the considerable defects this book has.
