Note that the U.S. posters for this movie have a 1961 NSS number on them, but the movie did not open in the U.S. until May of 1962. We imagine that this delay was caused by the controversy over the movie. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that both sections of this poster were glued onto a paperbacking which was then folded over and glued over all the blank borders (this was done to help preserve the poster, and it did a pretty good job of it). There is a censor stamp in the top right corner and another stamp and a paper snipe in the lower right corner, all in the background areas. Also note that this Italian two-panel poster was printed in 2 sections (designed to overlap) and when combined, the poster measures 54" x 72" and is currently folded, and fits in our standard mailers.
