An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) So You Won't Talk, the 1940 Edward Sedgwick mistaken identity screwball crime comedy ("Get set for Joe's biggest roar!") starring Joe E. Brown (in a dual role as a mild-mannered writer who decides to shave his facial hair, and afterwards, he just so happens to look like an escaped convict on the loose!), Frances Robinson, Vivienne Osborne, Bernard Nedell, and Tom Dugan. Note that this movie heavily borrowed from the 1935 crime classic "The Whole Town's Talking", starring Edward G. Robinson. But this version had a much greater comic element (naturally, with Joe E. Brown in the lead role!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: poor to fair. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with MUCH tape from the back. The poster is very fragile and somewhat difficult to handle. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid and please do not bid unless you can accept the defects described above, or you are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
