Martinson television (TV) Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus melodrama series starring Jack Palance, Stuart Erwin, Michael Consoldane, Joe E. Brown, Joan Blondell, and Buster Keaton. Of course, this TV series was based on the Cecil B. DeMille 1952 movie of the same name. Important Added Info: Note that these negatives are in glassine envelopes, but they are also in a paper sleeve that identifies them and also says "Shot 11-22-63 by Shepherd", so we know the photographer for sure. Note that this (or these, in the case of multiple negatives) was created by and sent by the studio that produced this (in the year noted on this auction) to newspapers, magazines, TV stations, or reviewers, so that they could use them to create the highest quality ads. They can be used to make very high quality reproductions, but bear in mind that we are solely auctioning the physical negatives and NOT the right to reproduce them, so unless they are public domain, the new owner must acquire the rights elsewhere before reproducing them. NOTE THAT THE ITEM YOU ARE PURCHASING IS A "NEGATIVE" THAT HAS A REVERSE IMAGE, AS SEEN IN OUR PHOTO (on most of these auctions of negatives, we scanned the negatives as well as photographing them, using a special "negative setting", which reverses the image, but in the case of this auction (and a few others), the person who owned the negatives also had positive prints of each of them, so we simply photographed the negatives side by side with the positive prints, so that you see how the negative appears by looking at the positive print).
