A Vintage German Hardcover Book (measures 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" [11 x 16 cm]; 364 pages) (Learn More)

Der Film Almanach 1925 (literally translates to "The Movie Almanac 1925"), the 1925 German hardcover book that was published by Der Film magazine with the tagline that translates to "a practical guide for the entire cinematography". It contains a date book in the beginning with entries for each day of January through March, and then it has listings of all the film studios, not only from Germany, but from all over the world, giving their addresses! There are also a few ads and there is a 2-page ad for Roland Rolando, either an actor or director, but we could not find any information about him (see our images). The book has a really cool blue silk bookmark that is attached (see our image). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this book before! Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and several interior 2-page spreads.

Condition: very good. There is much scuffing on the back cover and some scuffing on the front cover. Otherwise, the book is in really nice condition!
