An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #4 (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Candy, the 1968 Christian Marquand French/Italian/U.S. romantic fantasy comedy ("Good grief it's Candy!"; "Is Candy faithful? ...only to the book."; "Introducing... our Christmas attraction! Candy the world's most agreeable girl"; "Based on the novel by Terry Southern and Mason Hoffenberg") starring Charles Aznavour, Marlon Brando, Richard Burton, James Coburn, John Huston, Walter Matthau, Ringo Starr, Ewa Aulin (in the title role; billed as "introducing Ewa Aulin as Candy"), John Astin, Elsa Martinelli, Sugar Ray Robinson (the legendary boxer in a rare acting role!), Anita Pallenberg, Florinda Bolkan, Marilu Tolo, Nicoleta Machiavelli, Umberto Orsini, Joey Forman, Fabian Dean, and Enrico Maria Salerno ("as Jonathan J. John") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the back of this card was overprinted with a solid rectangular border with interior dimensions of 8" x 10". This was commonly done in the 1950s so that old lobby cards could be re-used as "frames" for 8x10 stills. This IS an original lobby card, and since the overprinting on the back does not affect the front, most collectors consider it a minor defect. Condition: good to very good. There is an 8x10 still that was glued to the back of the card with glue in the four corners of the still (the still is from "The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz" and we pictured it in our image). If the still was carefully removed, you would have a lobby card in good to very good condition and a nice still in very good condition! Learn More about condition grades
