An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (measures 40" x 60") (Learn More) Three Daring Daughters (released in England as "The Birds and the Bees"), the 1948 Fred M. Wilcox family relationship romantic musical ("Gorgeous Color by Technicolor"; "MGM's Gay Musical Love Story") starring Jeanette MacDonald, Jose Iturbi, Jane Powell (in her fourth credited movie role!), Edward Arnold, Harry Davenport, Ann Todd, and Elinor Donahue (billed as "Mary Eleanor Donahue"; 11 years old, and in one of her earlier credited roles) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Al Hirschfeld Important Added Info: Note that this 40x60 features great Al Hirschfeld art of Jose Iturbi playing a piano! Condition: good. There was a great deal of paper loss running down the right side of the poster, unevenly, including all of the white border and an uneven amount of the green background (but not going into the words or images). Someone very carefully taped a replacement piece down the entire right side and then carefully colored the background to match, and they did not do a perfect job, but they did a pretty good one! Otherwise, there are many creases and smudges around the edges of the poster. There is a 3" tear in the center of the bottom border. There are some creases throughout the image. This week we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like creasing, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
