An Original Vintage Campaign Book (measures 10 3/4" x 15" [27 x 38 cm]; 16 pages) (Learn More) Educational Pictures 1931-32, the 1931 campaign book ("The spice of the program") sent to theater-owners to encourage them to book Educational Pictures short films. Note that Educational specialized solely in shorts, and they made that a selling point that they were the only "big organization dealing exclusively in Short Features". Some of the shorts advertised in this book include Andy Clyde Comedies, Mack Sennett Comedies, Christie Productions, Torchy Comedies, Mermaid Comedies, Ideal Comedies, and Paul Terry-Toons, among many others! Note that campaign books for shorts are FAR more rare than those for feature movies! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this campaign book! Not only that, but we have never auctioned any campaign books for Educations Pictures until we were consigned this one. Also note that this book has Frank Moser's name embossed on it. Moser was Paul Terry's partner in Terry-Toons for the first 202 cartoons (until 1937), and he did half the work, but got far less than half the credit! Condition: very good to fine.
