An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Helene Costello was born in 1906 and was a child star from 1909 to 1916, at which point she "retired", and then in 1926, she was selected as one of the "Wampas Baby Stars" (even though she had already had a major career!), and then she continued acting until 1936, and then she retired again, this time permanently! She is best known for her work in Lights of New York and In Old Kentucky as adult roles, and for her approximately 70 roles as a child actress. She was also Dolores Costello's sister! Helene passed away in 1957 at the age of 50 from tuberculosis. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: fair to good. The still was used in a newspaper or magazine and there are printer marks around Costello's face (we don't know how easy or difficult these would be to remove). Learn More about condition grades
