An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Fortune Teller, the 1920 Albert Capallani silent family relationship mother/son circus melodrama (a wacky story of a woman who has an affair with a circus manager, and her husband divorces her and gets custody of their young son; she becomes a fortune teller at the circus, and also an alcoholic; but 20 years later, her son comes to her to get his fortune told, and she tells him he will become a big success, which causes him to both run for political office and marry the governor's daughter, and the mother sobers up and is reunited with her son) starring Marjorie Rambeau, Frederick Burton, E.L. Fernandez, Raymond McKee, and Franklyn Hanna NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: fair. There is much light smudging scattered in the image and the black tape is partially missing. We don't know how easy or hard it would be to clean or restore this slide, so bear that in mind before placing a bid on it. Learn More about condition grades
