An Unfolded Mexican Travel Poster (measures 27 1/4" x 36 1/2" [69 x 93 cm]) (Learn More) Veracruz, the 1951 Mexican travel poster encouraging people to visit the Mexican port city of Veracruz, and featuring J. Bueno Diaz art of a Mexican woman sitting next to palm trees on a beach with the Fort San Juan de Ulua in the background. Artist: J. Bueno Diaz Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has spotty, slight discoloration on portions of the back along a few inches of the upper and lower edges and at left. The stains are not very noticeable or distracting (other than in the borders) when the poster is displayed at a reasonable viewing distance and while it could be displayed as is, this is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that many or most of the stains can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
