Guest Star, the 1940s - 1950s radio series produced by the U.S. Treasury Department as a public service program encouraging people to purchase savings bonds. The series featured different "guest stars" performing in skits or musical numbers each week to promote the sales of savings bonds. The stars included: Humphrey Bogart, Al Jolson, Lionel Barrymore, Bonita Granville, Red Skelton, Frank Sinatra, Gene Autry, and many more!
Important Added Info: Note that this record features Bonita Granville and Jack Webb in a dramatic sketch titled "The Road to Yesterday", which was written by Harry Lawrence. The plot concerns a dead woman reflecting on her life. Jess barker, David Rose and the Savings Bond Orchestra perform the number, "I’ll Be Seeing You". Side two of the record features Humphrey Bogart and Norman Field in "Incident In Freedom" (about the Mexican Revolution), and Jess barker, David Rose and the Savings Bond Orchestra perform a number.

Condition: very good. We have no way of verifying if the record is playable, but it appears to be.
