Important Added Info: Note that there is an oddity on this poster, which is that all of the surviving examples we have seen are on an off-white paper. Either they were printed that way, or the paper just darkened somewhat, due to the paper that was used, which was apparently different from that used on most posters of this period (although we have seen some other titles where they seem to only be found with darkened paper). We have seen a few linenbacked examples that have white paper, but we suspect that those were heavily bleached. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had some tiny areas of paper loss near the middle of the bottom vertical fold, affecting the tops of some letters and small paper loss in the red background above that. It had tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds, with some tiny bits of paper loss in the vertical fold between the middle and bottom crossfolds and a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. It had a few pinholes and small areas of paper loss in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
