9a377 LOT OF 11 RONDO HATTON REPRO 8X10 STILLS '70s the giant horror actor with acromegaly!

a lot of 11 1970s REPRODUCTION 8x10 stills of Rondo Hatton. He was an actor from the 1930s to the 1940s. He was afflicted with acromegaly which is "a chronic disease of adults marked by enlargement of the bones of the extremities, face, and jaw that is caused by overactivity of the pituitary gland". Hollywood saw in Hatton the chance to make money by exploiting the way the disease had distorted his features, and for several years prior to his death, he was a villain in low-budget horror movies. Some of his movie roles include: The Brute Man, The Pearl of Death, and The Jungle Captive. Note that these come from a longtime collector who collected 1930s to 1950s horror stills from the late 1960s through the early 1990s. He knew that there were some stills (especially great ones) that were SO scarce that he might never acquire them, so on those, he would purchase high quality 8" x 10" reproductions (we know he acquired most of those in the early 1970s, especially because he "date stamped" many of them with when he received them!). We are auctioning a large number of his repro horror stills (including many from great 1930s and 1940s Universal horror titles) in many bulk lots in this set of auctions. This is a rare opportunity to acquire nice reproductions of extremely scarce stills (including fantastic images we have never seen before)! Note that in our last set of bulk lot auctions, we auctioned a large number of similar groups of repro stills, but those came from a different longtime collector, and those were primarily from 1950s sci-fi titles, while these are primarily from horror titles!

Condition: very good. Two of the repros have price stickers on them, but they are easily peeled off and do not leave any residue.
