An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Other Man, the 1916 Mack Sennett silent romantic love triangle engagement slapstick comedy short ("With the Keystone Players") starring Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle, Irene Wallace, Charles Avery, Minta Durfee, Leatrice Joy, and Al 'Fuzzy' St. John
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this card has both "Keystone" and the "Triangle" border on it, which are the two companies that released this movie in 1916. But, as was common at that time, that release was only for the major cities, and elsewhere, the movie was distributed on a "states rights" basis by different companies. In the case of this card, it was distributed by "S.A. Lynch Enterprises, Inc.", which distributed many movies at this time in areas other than the major cities. So the card is almost certainly from 1916 (or very soon after). It is not certain that there were any lobby cards that predate it that solely have Keystone and Triangle on them, because when movies played in limited runs in big cities, they were only in one theater and they likely would not have created lobby cards for those few theaters that showed the movie. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes in the corners and some water stains in the bottom border, with a few creases, tiny stains, and tiny tears around the edges (see our image). There is water staining scattered on the back of the card, but it does not affect the front, other than what is described above (see our image of the back). Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
