An Original Vintage Folded One-Sheet Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) From the 1950s double-bill release ("The 2 master-minds of skullduggery conceive 2 gory brain storms for 2 diabolical thrillers to check your cerebrumic waves!") of The Man Who Changed His Mind (re-titled "The Brain Snatcher" for this release), the 1936 Robert Stevenson English science fiction (sci-fi) mad scientist fantasy romantic horror melodrama ("Karloff as a Love Crazed Scientist!"; about a scientist who finds a way to "copy" people's brains into another person, so that what you know is not lost when you die; he has a rich benefactor and a beautiful young assistant, and when the benefactor withdraws his support, and the assistant rejects him, it sends him over the edge, and he becomes a "mad scientist"!) starring Boris Karloff, Anna Lee, John Loder, Frank Cellier, Lynn Harding, and Donald Calthrop. Note that this movie is mostly forgotten today, but those who have seen it all agree that it is one of Karloff's best non-monster movies of the 1930s, and that it is quite entertaining and worth seeing! AND The Clairvoyant (re-titled "The Evil Mind" for this release), the 1934 Maurice Elvey English romantic fortune telling thriller (based on the novel by Ernst Lothar; screenplay by Charles Bennett; a clever story of a man and his wife who have a fake mind reading act, but then he discovers he can start to actually see the future, but only when he is in the presence of a particular young woman; he has a vision of a mining disaster that kills hundreds, and he goes to the mine to warn the workers, and when the disaster occurs, he is put on trial for causing it!) starring Claude Rains, Fay Wray, Mary Clare, Ben Field, and Jane Baxter. Note that this is a completely forgotten movie today, which is very sad, because not only does it feature two major Hollywood stars (odd that they are in an English movie!), but also it is written by Charles Bennett, who went on to write several of Hitchcock's best movies, including "The 39 Steps" the following year. Perhaps it will get "rediscovered" one of these days. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes around the edges, and it was folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right. There is marker writing on the back that slightly bleeds through to the front in one blank border only. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
