The Last Frontier, the 1932 Spencer Gordon Bennet & Thomas Storey cowboy western serial ("Courtney Ryley Cooper's red-blooded drama of fighting men and fighting days") starring Lon Chaney Jr. (billed as "Creighton Chaney"), Dorothy Gulliver, Ralph Bushman (billed as "Francis X. Bushman, Jr."; son of the famous actor, and he was billed that way to improve his popularity; he made lots of movies in the 1920s through the early 1940s, and then he completely retired in 1943), Joe Bonomo (famous strong man who vied with Charles Atlas for the "Most Perfect Man", he appeared in 32 movies, but like Atlas, his primary business was selling books and pamphlets telling how to acquire a body like his!), Yakima Canutt, and Mary Jo Desmond

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had paper loss at the middle crossfold in the man's face and paper loss at the top crossfold. It had some tears and paper loss on parts of some folds and pinholes, tears, and paper loss in parts of the borders. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Someone started to perform restoration to some of the fold areas, but stopped before attempting the paper loss at the middle crossfold in the man's face. A different restorer could perform additional restoration (with or without re-backing the poster), but bear all of this in mind before bidding on this poster.
