An Original Vintage Brochure (measures 6" x 9"; 12 pages) (Learn More)

Vitaphone was the sound film system used for feature films and short subjects made by Warner Bros. and First National from 1926 to 1931. It was the last major analog sound-on-disc system and the only one which was widely used and commercially successful. It was first used when Warner Bros. premiered Don Juan, the 1926 movie with John Barrymore in the lead role at the Grauman's Egyptian Theatre (later the Grauman's Chinese Theatre). It had "Vitaphone synchronization by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra"!
Important Added Info: Note that this is a really cool brochure explaining all about the new Vitaphone process. It has lots of pictures of the people who made it happen, and the back cover (not pictured) has an image of all four Warner brothers, with information about them.

Condition: good to very good. The cover and two of the interior pages have faint staining in the top right and the brochure was lightly folded down the middle, but otherwise, it is in pretty nice condition!
