She married Bing Crosby when she was 18, and while they remained married until her passing in 1952, their marriage had many problems. Bing had major drinking problems, and Dixie became an alcoholic, and they had four sons, but two of them eventually committed suicide, and Dixie passed away in 1952 from ovarian cancer when she was just 40 years old. She had a brief film career, appearing in movies such as: Redheads on Parade, Manhattan Love Song, and No Limit Important Added Info: Note that this still has an embossed photographer's stamp in the bottom right corner.
