Hartley Manners adapted by Mary O'Hara"; about an Irish girl who inherits a lot of money from her grandfather, but the grandfather hated his son, her father, and he left the money to her on the condition that she never see her father again!; the father nobly sends his daughter away to school, and then fakes his death, so she can inherit the money, but she learns of the ruse, and renounces the inheritance and returns home to her beloved father, with her new boyfriend close behind) starring Laurette Taylor (in the title role as Peg), Mahlon Hamilton, Russell Simpson, Ethel Grey Terry, and Nigel Barrie NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. We have provided both a high quality scan of the image and also a separate image of how the glass slide looks, but in that digital image, you can really just see the outline of the slide and defects (if any) around the edges. Condition: fair to good. The image has faded around the edges, but it does not affect the image or title area very much. Most of the black tape is missing from the borders. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Learn More about condition grades
