Yeats"; "Frank Lloyd's sensational photoplay"; an odd story about a 50 year old woman who comes up with a "fountain of youth" that makes her seem like a young woman again; a young man wants to marry her, but one of her past boyfriends convinces her to let him go) starring Corinne Griffith, Conway Tearle, Tom Ricketts, Tom Guise, Alan Hale Sr., and Clara Bow (very young in this role!) Important Added Info: Note that this is a special glass slide which promotes the sheet music of the theme song "When Romance Wakes" from "Black Oxen", as well as the movie itself. They sold the sheet music at local music dealers and department stores, who no doubt appreciated the plug (and there is a blank space in the lower right, no doubt for the name of a local store carrying the sheet music!). Also note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and black tape, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the black tape or the edges of the slide well.
