Important Added Info: Note that this is an unusual poster that is shrouded in mystery! It was printed in Italy, but has large English language credits, but has Spanish writing at the top! Perhaps it was printed in Italy for use when the movie was re-released in Spanish speaking countries in the 1960s, but that is just a guess. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had many creases and scuffs down the center. It had a 10" tear in the top center of the poster to the left of the vertical fold. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
