Madame Spy, the 1934 Karl Freund World War I (WWI) espionage romantic melodrama ("The dazzling Career of an Adventuress"; about a German pilot who is also a spy, who crash lands in Poland, and he is nursed back to health by a woman who is secretly a Russian spy, and they fall in love without knowing the truth about each other, and after many adventures, he is arrested, and she helps him escape, which causes her to be sentenced to death, and as she prepares to commit suicide, he meets with her and they embrace!) starring Fay Wray, Nils Asther, Noah Beery Sr., Robert Graves, Vince Barnett, Edward Arnold, John Miljan, Robert Ellis, and David Torrence. Note that this movie was a remake of a 1932 German movie, and it was remade in 1942 (with the plot updated to World War II) with Constance Bennett and Don Porter in the lead roles.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the card's blank top had been trimmed off. There were pinholes, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges and some smudges and dot stains scattered through the image. Overall, the card was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
