Details About These Items

About the shipping of the bulk lots in this set of auctions
In the past, we have completely packed all of the bulk lots, which meant that you couldn't easily combine any of them, especially the ones that included a lot of items. But now we are only slightly packing them, so that once the auction is over, WE WILL BE ABLE TO COMBINE BULK LOTS INTO AS FEW SINGLE TUBES OR BOXES AS POSSIBLE (as much as is safely "combine-able")!
This will make these great deals even better, because you may buy say, 10 flat bulk lots, and we might well be able to send them all in a single box (and if not, it will certainly be fewer than 10 separate packages). So be sure to look over all of these bulk lots carefully, because there will surely be many excellent deals!

About the condition of the items
Note that we give a detailed overall condition grade to every item we sell ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", and "good", with only a few graded "fair" or lesser) along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much a general description of the defects, and we only describe specific defects if they are the type that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable). We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe. Of course, with the items that have many pages, we could not photograph every single page, but we often photograph both covers and an interior two-page spread, which should surely give you an excellent idea of the overall condition of that item.

U.S. Shipping Details

U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order plus $3, for both the best packaging materials you have ever seen (you can choose either the U.S. Post Office or UPS (since you are paying it, you can choose the method you prefer). All U.S. orders will be sent fully insured.

NOTE: In the past, we offered a "flat rate" shipping price on some of our auctions. We no longer have this, for two reasons. One is that the shipping companies have drastically raised their rates many times in the past few years, so we were losing lots of money with our flat rate. The other more important reason is that our Pay and Hold Program (see below for how this works) allows you to have your purchases sent every TWELVE weeks, which means we will only send you packages four times a year, and almost all of those packages were already being charged the actual cost anyway. We urge all of our customers to join the Pay and Hold Program, because it really saves you a massive amount on shipping!

Missouri, Arizona, California, Washington, Illinois, North Carolina, and Ohio customers: If your order is sent within these states, we MUST collect sales tax, and we will do so automatically (unless you have a Reseller Certificate from your state in which case you need to reply to this email with a copy of that Certificate, so you can be exempted from the sales tax).

Have you heard about our Pay and Hold Program?
This lets U.S. buyers pay for their purchases from 12 consecutive weeks (a total of 18 auctions and around 24,000+ items!), and we then send all your purchases at once saving you LOTS of money! Do you need "signature required"?
Neither UPS nor USPS automatically require a signature to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will need to pay the extra $5.00 for UPS or $2.60 for USPS that they charge for "signature required", and please realize that they will then NOT leave the package at the door, and you may well have to go to the UPS or USPS facility yourself to pick it up if you aren't there to meet the delivery person. If you have any other special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order. IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED (unless your package has a dollar value over $300, in which case we will ALWAYS send it with signature required, due to the massive rise in "porch thefts", unless you specifically tell us not to, and you will need to fully accept responsibility for the package if it is stolen from your porch or lobby)!

You CAN usually combine shipment!
NOTE: These items need to be sent in a variety of ways (as noted on the individual auction pages) so...

*Some of the "flat" items can be combined with these auctions and we will combine them automatically if there is no chance of damage to any of them items you win:

Thursday March 5th single lobby cards and stills
Sunday March 8th bulk lots that might be combinable if they ship flat
Tuesday March 19th window cards, Italian, French, 3sh, 6sh, and similar
Sunday March 22nd folded one sheets, folded non-U.S. and non-U.S. lobbies
Tuesday March 31st some of the signed items and all sorts of miscellaneous items (the ones that ship in flat packages)
Thursday April 2nd single lobby cards and stills
Sunday May 5th the posters, lobby cards, and more that ship in flat packages in Part III of our April Major Auction
Thursday May 14th most of the miscellaneous items and some of the oversized flat items

*Some of the "rolled" items can be combined with these auctions and we will combine them automatically if there is no chance of damage to any of them items you win:

Sunday March 8th bulk lots that ship rolled
Tuesday March 17th rolled one-sheets, non-U.S., and special posters
Tuesday March 31st some of the signed items and all sorts of miscellaneous items (the ones that ship rolled in tubes)
Sunday April 5th rolled one-sheets, non-U.S., and special posters
Sunday May 5th the rolled posters that ship in tubes in Part III of our April Major Auction
Tuesday May 12 inserts, half-sheets, and small rolled non-U.S. posters
Thursday May 14th some of the oversized rolled items

*Almost EVERY item in this set of auctions CAN'T be combined with the below auctions, because either these items or the below items could be damaged when they are combined:

Tuesday April 28th linenbacked posters (all of which ship rolled in standard size tubes) in Part I of our April Major Auction
Thursday April 30th linenbacked posters (all of which ship rolled in standard size tubes) in Part II of our April Major Auction

*Most items that ship in boxes CAN'T be combined with other non-boxed items, but if they can be safely combined with any other purchases you made, we will be sure to do so!

Note that (if you join our Pay and Hold Program) we allow you to wait to have your purchases shipped until a total of twelve auctions have ended so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions (if possible; see Learn More About Combining), and that means there is a chance you could combine all those items, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package, but of course, there is a limit to how many items can fit in a single package or tube, and if you end up with several packages, you will need to pay that many shipping charges; Learn More About Combining). Since around half of our auctions have items that ship in tubes and the other half have items that ship in flat packages, and since few of those two types of items can be combined, most of our regular buyers end up with at least two packages after twelve weeks. We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do (and of course, there are others who charge far more!), but none of the ones with lower rates offer the same generous combined shipping we do, and we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (plus $3 for packaging materials)!

Non-U.S. Shipping Details

Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order (you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post Office has eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or Airmail), plus $3, for both the best packaging materials you have ever seen and a separate printed invoice mailed to you. All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order.

Have you heard about our Pay and Hold Program?
This lets U.S. buyers pay for their purchases from 12 consecutive weeks (a total of 18 auctions and around 24,000+ items!), and we then send all your purchases at once saving you LOTS of money! Learn more about how to save money on shipping by shipping to friends/family in the U.S., insurance, and customs fees.

Normally we provide a chart containing estimated shipping charges for up to 3 items from a set of auctions, but since we are offering many, many different types of bulk lots that ship in different types of packages or tubes AND given the wildly different weights of the lots we are offering, we are unable to provide estimated shipping amounts for this set of auctions. Know that lots containing less than 20 items each will cost roughly between $50 and $75 to ship depending on what country you live in and what shipping method you choose. Lots containing more than 20 items (or lots containing HEAVY items) will ship for FAR higher amounts.

PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THESE BULK LOT AUCTIONS EXPECTING THE COST OF SHIPPING TO BE LOW! Some large lots could easily cost over $120 to ship. Bear this added expense in mind BEFORE you place a bid, and include a guessed at "shipping amount" in the amount you bid, so that you are paying the total you want (if you think shipping will be $70, and you want to pay $80 for the lot, then you can only bid $10).

ALSO NOTE:
Insurance will increase the cost of shipping by approximately $1.60 for each $100 of insurance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please bear these approximate shipping cost in mind BEFORE you place a bid (if you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very securely packed tube, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order.
Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large "brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it. Note that there are also some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course this is not legal, and we can not do this. We have outlined the possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!

Do you have a friend or relative who lives in the United States?
Some of our customers either visit the U.S. regularly, or have friends or relatives within the U.S., and often those customers have us send their orders to a U.S. address, and then they transport the posters from there. THIS CAN SAVE YOU A GREAT DEAL ON SHIPPING! This is fine with us, but realize that you still need to let us know within one week of receipt if you want to return anything, so don't use this method unless you are certain you will want to keep your purchases.

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (plus $3 for packaging materials)!
