Did you know... that you can learn a LOT more about what we are auctioning, different poster sizes, etc by clicking on our "Learn More" links?

Our auctions (and our Auction History) contain a LOT more information than what it appears at first glance. What do we mean? If you notice, there are several different "Learn More" links in different places on each auction. Each is there for a different purpose (we use them to avoid having our auction pages seem "cluttered" but we still want you to have access to REALLY useful added information), so be sure to look for those on each auction, ESPECIALLY WHEN A QUESTION COMES TO YOUR MIND, BECAUSE THE ANSWER IS LIKELY THERE (because we created those pages after seeing the questions bidders often asked in the past).

Here are some examples of what you will find:

  1. Item Types. Near the start of every auction item, we write large red text that typically begins with "An Original Vintage...." describing the poster type, measurements, and style or reissue information. At the end of that red text is usually a "Learn More" link. Click it, and you can learn more about that item type. For example, if you are looking at a one-sheet, clicking the Learn More will give you generalized information about one-sheets. This is especially useful if you aren't familiar with a particular type of item.

  2. Condition Grades. At the end of the condition grade is another Learn More. This one allows you to learn more about what that condition grade means. In fact, underneath that description is yet another Learn More where you can learn more about condition grades in general along with a complete list of ALL our condition grades!

  3. Auction Details. Each set of our auctions (such as Tuesday, December 23rd's 999 lobby cards) has a Learn More page about that entire set of auctions including shipping information (on auction pages, it is located to the right of the thumbnail image where it reads "Learn More About These Auctions"), often a chart of what is being offered, and sometimes added details about the selection being offered. In fact, we have an archive of these pages HERE (and it is searchable by lot number, such as "3f").

Sometimes there are other "Learn More" links as well (such as, to learn more about linenbacking when an item is linenbacked), and we also "Learn More" links throughout our website. So the next time you are perusing our site and you want to know more about something, look for a "Learn More" link. The answer to your questions (or additional info that will make you a more informed auction bidder and buyer) may be closer than you think!
