We wanted to start off 2026 right, and to do that we added something to our Auction History Database at https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archive.html that is REALLY great! What is it?

Ever since we made a big difference between consignments that are in "very good" or better, and ones that are "good to very good" or lesser (the former must be $50+ and the latter $100+) consignors have been asking us for a faster way to look up the value of their items with condition in mind and now we have it!

What is this change? It is that EVERY search in our Auction History database now includes two new Search Filters, near the top, under "Condition" and one is for "Very Good or Better" and the other is for "Good to Very Good or Lesser"!

How this helps! Say you have an example of the folded one-sheet from the 1972 movie The Getaway. In the past, you had to look over all the results, which can be both time-consuming and confusing. Looking at just those results, you can quickly see that your poster IS $50+, and IS fine to consign. Looking at just those results, you can quickly see that your poster clearly NOT $100+ (even though it once had a crazy high result of $157), and it is NOT fine to consign. IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO USES OUR AUCTION HISTORY THESE NEW SEARCH FILTERS CAN GREATLY SPEED UP THE PROCESS OF EVALUATING YOUR POSTERS!

But this is also a great help to buyers! Say you are looking to buy an unfolded example of the 1999 The Matrix one-sheet. and you want the double-sided advance. But NOW you can also see something else, thanks to these new filters! We have auctioned 67 of these unfolded double-sided advances, but looking at the condition filters, you can see that only 28 of the 67 were in "very good or better" condition. And when you click on that filter, you can see that only 3 of the 28 were in the past 5 years, and only one in the past 3 years, so clearly it was MUCH easier to find in nice condition many years ago, and far less so in recent years!

And the above are just a couple of random examples of how these new condition filters will make your searching our Auction History Database FAR more productive and quicker! And these new condition filters also work just as well on our current live auctions!

Say you are someone who is VERY condition conscious. You can now go into any of our current auction galleries, and, with one click, solely view ONLY the "Very Good or Better" condition items. Or say you are someone who likes "bargains". You know those will mostly be on lesser condition items, so for those people they should with one click, solely view ONLY the "Good to Very Good or Lesser" condition items.
