Amazing? Yes! But what makes it far more amazing is that those are all unique auctions of vintage collectibles (no taking items off a shelf and auctioning them over and over). Has ANY individual auction anywhere ever held this many unique auctions? I know there were a few eBay sellers who likely did (like Internet legends Jay and Marie Senese, who were "onecentcds" on eBay, and sadly quit eBay like we did, when eBay kept raising fees and adding more and more rules that hurt sellers and buyers alike), but sites like those were auctioning hundreds or thousands of the same items, so its not the same, as with us, where EVERY item is unique, and we take a fresh image of every item we auction! If they had a Guinness category for this, I think we would surely hold the world record! When we held our millionth auction around 4 years ago, we gave the buyer of that item $1,000 in fixed price posters (and of course we included free shipping, and as luck would have it, the buyer was from Australia, so shipping was a LOT!). The way we see it, if a million auctions merited a $1,000 prize, then a million and a HALF auctions merits a $1,500 prize, and that's what we will give to the winner of our one and a half millionth auction! This means you have a LOT more incentive to participate in our auctions in the next couple of months! Why? Because when you play the lottery, you have less than a one in a million chance of winning the big prize. But here, there will be around 12,000 auctions between four and eight weeks from now, and every item you win has a one in 12,000 chance of winning $1,500 in fixed price posters, and of course, every added item you win gives you another chance (so if you were to win 100 items during that time you would have a one in 120 chance of winning the prize!). Of course, people would like to know EXACTLY when the auction will happen, so that they could just bid in that set of auctions. But we are keeping that information very secret, and all we are telling you for now is that the one and a half millionth auction will definitely occur in the month of September or October! I won't give more details than that, because I want the winner to be truly random, so that it well could be someone who wins a $1 auction who gets the bonus $1,500 in posters, and it could even be someone who never before won an auction from us!
