As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

So below is the pressbook from After the Thin Man (released in other English speaking countries as "Nick, Gentleman Detective"), the 1936 W.S. Van Dyke romantic detective mystery crime comedy sequel (one of the very popular "Thin Man" movies; "Continuing the fun in their sequel"; "From the story by Dashiell Hammett"; "Their NEW joyous hit!"; "Mr. & Mrs. Thin Man are back in their joyous new hit!"; "'Me too' says Astra, the Dog") starring William Powell (as Nick Charles), Myrna Loy (as Nora Charles), James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Elissa Landi, Joseph Calleia, Jessie Ralph, Alan Marshall, Teddy Hart, Sam Levene, Dorothy McNulty, and Penny Singleton. Note that this was the very first sequel to the super popular 1934 movie "The Thin Man", and original 1936 material from this movie is almost as rare as that from the first movie!
