Cool Item Of the Month: Suicide Squad pressbook
As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you this week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!
This week, I have the pressbook from Suicide Squad, the 1936 Raymond K. Johnson fireman firefighter rescue action thriller ("Norman Foster, Joyce Compton in a thundering drama of the firefighters"; "Hold all traffic as the fire brigade roars into action!"; "A picture of 1000 thrills") starring Norman Foster, Joyce Compton, Aggie Herring, Robert Homans (billed as "Robert Holman"), Peter Warren, and Phil Kramer (as "Snaps" The Photographer). Apparently, this movie includes some singing firemen!
