Incredible Free Bonus Offer (because this is a charity auction)
(for U.S. customers; non-U.S. customers please read special notes below regarding shipping and bonus offers)
Bruce Hershenson says, "We are currently selling 19 items in this special baby Gavin charity auction, and because I want to raise as much money as possible for this very worthy charity, I am offering every buyer this week a complete set of our 25 in-print full-color movie poster books (a retail value of $486.97) absolutely free. So if you purchase any 1 (or more) of these 19 posters, you will also receive the set of 25 full-color movie poster books, no matter how little you pay for the poster (but of course we hope that all the 19 posters sell for lots of money, because 100% of that money will go to this charity)!

About the Books Since 1990, we have published 42 books of movie poster reproductions, each containing hundreds of full-color reproductions of the finest movie posters known to exist, and each book has better printing and color reproduction than most coffee table books costing several times the price! 19 of the books served as auction catalogs, and the posters pictured therein sold for a combined total of over ten million dollars! The other 23 books are each devoted to a single genre (cowboy, crime, horror, Academy Award winners, etc). 17 of the books are sold out. you can learn more about and see sample images from each book on our Illustrated History and our Auction Catalogs pages. In this baby Gavin charity auction, we are giving every buyer a set of 25 of our in-print full-color movie poster books (a retail value of $486.97), and some of these are in very short supply!

If you don't already own these great books (or maybe even if you do!), then you should find any one of the 19 items in this special charity auction to buy, just to get the bonus books! You may get 25 books AND a single item for as little as 99 cents for both with NO shipping (if you are the only bidder and are in the U.S.)!

Special Notes About This Thursday's Items
What was the origin of the special auction? Gavin Ryne Winslow was born on February 23, 2006, with major medical problems. His kidneys did not function properly, and he needed a kidney transplant to survive. Many of his fellow residents of Wisconsin started fundraising efforts to help pay for his very expensive medical needs. One of these fine people was Gino Salomone, the entertainment reporter for WISN-TV ABC in Milwaukee, WI.

Gino had the excellent idea of using his position to obtain signed posters for current movies from movie studios, and then auctioning the posters, with the proceeds going to the fund to pay for Gavin's medical expenses. He contacted various movie studios, and once he explained the purpose of his request, they were happy to provide him with posters from many different movies, and they had the stars (and sometimes the director or producers) personally sign the posters. His efforts resulted in 19 signed posters, most of which are signed by more than one celebrity connected with the movie (they were signed at press junkets held to promote the movies, where the various stars and/or directors or producers were appearing in person.

Once he had the posters assembled from the various studios, Gino turned to Bruce Hershenson, whom he had purchased posters from as a collector, and asked Bruce if he would auction the posters on eBay as part of his regular auctions, giving all the proceeds to maybe Gavin's medical fund. Bruce was happy to comply, but he soon discovered that eBay had many restrictions on charity auctions, as well as restrictions on selling autographed material, and he sadly soon came to the conclusion that there was virtually no way to run this auction on eBay.

But a couple of months later, Bruce decided to take his auctions off of eBay, and he asked Gino if it would make sense to make his first non-eBay auctions be the 19 autographed posters that Gino had obtained. Gino agreed, and that is the genesis of this auction. In order to raise as much money for this worthy charity as possible, Bruce is not taking any commission of any kind, giving a free set of his 25 books to every buyer in this auction, and not charging ANY shipping to any U.S. buyer (neither on the posters themselves or on the set of books)!

Note that because there was a delay in starting this auction, baby Gavin has already received his life saving kidney transplant on January 3, 2008 from the dedicated team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. But his medical needs are far from over, and we hope everyone participating in this auction will bid generously on these 19 posters, so that his family will receive some much-needed aid as a result.

Please note that this fundraising in honor of Gavin Winslow is being done in conjunction with the Children's Organ Transplant Association. The organization's priority is to assure that no child is denied a transplant or excluded from a transplant waiting list due to lack of funds. One hundred percent of all funds raised are used for patients' transplant-related expenses.

For more information on baby Gavin and his family, go to http://www.savebabygavin.com/, which gives a history of what has happened to him to this point, and his family's present-day situation. We at eMoviePoster.com give our greatest thanks to Gino Salomone for selflessly obtaining these posters for this auction.

In addition to selling this incredible collection of 19 personally signed (autographed) posters to help raise money for baby Gavin, we are also charging NO U.S. shipping (and discounted non-U.S. shipping) so that bidders may bid higher to raise more money. If that was not enough, we are also offering a complete set of our 25 in-print full-color movie poster books to EVERY buyer this week (NOTE: we can only include it with non-U.S. orders if the buyer is willing to pay the roughly $100 or more shipping charge; see the Non-U.S. Shipping Details below for more)! We really want to raise as much money as possible for baby Gavin, so we hope these two incredible offers will encourage you to bid in these first non-eBay auctions AND to help us raise as much money as we can for baby Gavin's medical needs.

A special note about the condition of the items in our current auction:
Normally when we sell items, we give a generalized condition grade of "fine or better", "very good" or "very good to fine", and "lesser" for each item, but FOR THIS AUCTION, we have given a more detailed overall condition grade ("very good to fine", "very good", and 1 "good to very good") along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much only if they are defects that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable). We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the item for minor defects that we did NOT describe.

Payment Options
We accept Paypal

U.S. Shipping Details
This week only, because we are offering 19 posters in this special Baby Gavin charity auction (see above for more details), there is NO U.S. shipping charge (either on the posters, or on the free set of 25 books)! To help raise money for this special charity auction, we are sending all U.S. orders this week at our expense. This means you can bid even higher since you do not have to pay any shipping and it will benefit both you AND baby Gavin!

Non-U.S. Shipping Details
This week only, because we are offering 19 posters in this special Baby Gavin charity auction (see above for more), there is greatly discounted non-U.S. shipping charge! To help raise money for this special charity auction, we are going to calculate the actual cost of shipping (plus $2 for packaging materials), THEN SUBTRACT WHAT THE COST OF U.S. SHIPPING WOULD BE, and you will only pay the difference!
