As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you this week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

This week, I have the pressbook from Please Get Married, the 1919 John E. Ince silent romantic marriage comedy farce ("From the Morosco stage success by James Cullen and Lewis Allen Browne"; "The story of a kissless bride"; a wacky story of a couple who is married by a bogus minister, and their parents must do everything they can to keep them from consummating their marriage, and after many ordeals, it is discovered that the minister wasn't bogus at all!) starring Viola Dana, Antrim Short, Margaret Campbell, Harry Todd, and Emmett King. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
