Artist: Reynold Brown Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster must have been displayed in sunlight, because it is severely faded, primarily the reds in the poster, which are either now virtually absent, or have severely lightened, as in the case of the top tagline area. Prior to fading, the poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and separation and a few small tears on the foldlines, with some pinholes and smudges around the edges of the poster. When the poster was backed, it received restoration to the above defects, and that restoration is now more noticeable because of the fading, because the restoration paint did not fade in the same way. But in spite of all this, the poster still displays pretty well, because it did not fade in a way that hurts its appearance drastically. I would think some people would not even be aware of the fading if it were not pointed out to them! But please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above.
