Die Nibelungen: Kriemhilds Rache (released in English-speaking countries as "Kriemhild's Revenge"), the 1924 Fritz Lang German silent fantasy adventure sequel (written by Thea von Harbou; a follow-up to Lang's "Die Nibelungen: Siegfried", this movie begins after Siegfried is killed and his wife, the heroine Kriemhild, is out to get vengeance for his murder) starring Gertrud Arnold (as Queen Ute of Burgund), Margarete Schon (in the title role as Princess Kriemhild of Burgund), Theodor Loos (as King Gunther of Burgund), Hans Carl Mueller (as Gerenot of Burgund), Erwin Biswanger (as Giselher of Burgund), Annie Rottgen (as Dietlind of Bechlarn), Rudolf Rittner (as Margrave Rudiger of Bechlarn), Rudolf Klein-Rogge (as King Etzel), Hans Adalbert Schlettow (as Hagen of Tronje), and Georg August Koch (as Hildebrandt). Note that this epic movie was parodied in the Chuck Jones cartoon "What's Opera, Doc?", starring Bugs Bunny!

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" item for this German movie! Note that German programs from the early 1920s are INCREDIBLY scarce, especially from major movies. This is almost certainly because of the great paper shortages in Germany during World War II, during which all earlier paper was recycled, which means virtually no pre-World War II German paper survives. Also note that we have pictured the front cover, and two interior 2-page spreads from this program.

Condition: very good. The program was once lightly folded across the middle. There is some faint staining in the background areas around the edges of the cover, but otherwise, the program is in pretty nice condition!
