He is best known from TV's "Hollywood Squares". He had a very memorable role as the typical American father in Bye Bye Birdie (singing "Kids"). It was an "open secret" that he was gay (it was never referred to, but most people clearly knew it, although he never "came out of the closet" during his lifetime). Some of his other movies include: Beach Blanket Bingo, and Charlotte's Web (as the voice of Templeton). He passed away in 1982 at the age of 55. Important Added Info: Note that the sleeve of this record has been personally autographed (signed) by Paul Lynde! It was signed in person at Summer Stock Theater in the Round. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain that the signature is authentic.
